There are a lot of factors that can shape ones political affiliation, such as income, race, religion, etc. All of these factors have a clear and direct effect on ones political views. A more interesting factor, however, is age. In the US, for instance, it is generally believed that as individuals age, they become more conservative. In Israel, although this subject is less explored, it seems on the surface like the complete opposite. In this paper, I will aim to uncover what causes different generations to be affiliated with different political ideologies, primarily in the US but also in Israel.
