תכתבי לה שחמאס משתמש בבית החולים ה"תמימים" האלו כדי לתכנן מתקפות על ישראל ואפילו לשגר טילים. ושחמאס גם ירו על בית חולים (שלא שימש כמפקדה של אירגון טרור). אזרחים פלסטינים אוזהרו לגבי הפצצות 24 שעות לפני התקיפה והיה להם זמן להתפנות לדרום הרצועה.
